The most common specifications in this field are ASTM B 861, ASFM B 862, NACE and NORSOK as well as VD TÜV sheet 230/2 depending on building and calculation specifications given by the plant designers.
The tubes’ surfaces vary from bright annealed and pickled to sanded. The materials are provided in various specifications depending on application and product requirements.
